are we in the same boat again? (hmmm...mi ha-nakar?)

I apologize for the screwy formatting (my computer doesn't know its right from its left), and to those of you whose computers - or yourselves - do not read Hebrew. This was also circulating in English, a long time ago; joke in Ivrit sent via email, courtesy of my friend Aliza in Kiryat Moshe. For a translation, please email me.

David: They are, with a few exceptions, depending on the circumstance; for example, 'rocking the boat' - sometimes, as in the political/military situation currently in Israel, one has to rock the boat in order to effect change.
SWFM: Glad you liked it. I wonder which was the original, the Hebrew or the English? Anyone know?

'm00kie: do you understand the Ivrit? It's double entendres , plays-on-words and cliches relating to Noah's Ark (but meaning something else in everyday speech).

My pleasure lady-light (and thanks RCJ, you're way over the line now in the kindness department). I'm not sure whether you're memely inclinced, but in case you're interested, I've tagged you with the book meme at my site, so, your mission should you choose to accept it...

Oh no! The dreaded BOOK MEME!! What if I haven't read anything all summer? All my life? What if I have short-term memory loss, and can't remember what I did תמול שלשום (which of course I can't)?!
uh, thank you AbbaGav. I think.
