Glenn Beck Gets it Right: Whom are we Supporting in the Middle East?

Image
Haven't blogged in two weeks, so it's time.  Here, Glenn Beck states outright what I have been trying to beat you guys over the head with for years.  I am losing my patience, and my politeness.  For all his foibles, Beck has the courage (or the chutzpah) to say it loud and clear (yes, I know it's an adverb, but "loudly and clearly" just doesn't cut it).  All reasonable, intelligent, informed people should be standing with Israel against the radical Islamists and Islam.

Recognition of the Jewish State: A Prerequisite for True Peace

Everyone is screaming about Israel's not making 'concessions for peace,' lately by not extending the construction freeze in Jerusalem.  I don't hear anyone saying a word about the so-called Palestinians (who amazingly didn't exist in 1948.  Somehow then, they were just "Arabs") not recognizing the state of Israel and that being an obstacle for peace. Finally there is someone (Michael B. This mutual acceptance is essential if both peoples are to live side by side in two states in genuine and lasting peace.  The fact ...

"Abraham's Children": Jews All Over Globe Linked Genetically

(nablopomo day 4) It turns out the Jews are not only a religion, but were a genetically-linked ethnic group all along, as reported in Bloomberg BusinessWeek .  Gil Atzmon, Li Hao, Itzik Pe-er, Edward Burns and others did the complex genetic analysis entitled Abraham's Children in the Genome Era at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. The purpose of the study was to find genetic markers for various diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer.  But the study also showed that all groups of Jews are related to each other, and--despite the Arabs' contention that Jews have and had no connection to the land of Israel, rather  that they are European--that Jews have Middle Eastern origins , and that the two groups, Middle Eastern and European Jews, apparently split off from each other approximately 2,500 years ago. Also read Aish's article about this discovery.  It's interesting that the study shows that, despite some theories that Ashkenazic ...
