The Difference Between THEM, and US

No need for more words. We strive to overcome, we build, we create, we live :  This is who we are: ...and this is who our partners for peace are:

Finally a Journalist Sees What the "Palestinians" Really Want

How many times have I written on this blog posts related to the so-called Two-State Solution subject,  "peace" talks, and about the lies the Arabs--so-called "Palestinians"--are telling the world, and what they really want?  'Let me count the ways.'  Try here , here and especially here , for starters. Well (yes, I am beginning a sentence with "well." What are you going to do about it?), a young Israeli journalist named Lital Shemesh has recently discovered what I--and everyone else who knew the truth--have been saying all along: The "Palestinians" don't want peace.  They want Israel-- all of Israel--to disappear.  Ms. Shemesh (which means "sun" in Hebrew) was an advocate for peace, and to achieve this, for coming to the table with the Arabs and discovering who they are, their aspirations and desires, and through talks arriving at a compromise which would benefit everyone. A noble cause, for certain.  In her video blo...

"Peace" is Just a Catchphrase

So we are going at it again, on and on with more "peace talks" between Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian Authority, Fatah faction.  First meeting in Washington, D.C., then in Sharm-el-Sheikh, then in Jerusalem, and on and on---back and forth. But the world is not aware that the word "peace" is just a catchphrase .  It has no basis in the reality of the way the Middle East is today. This is just a dance that the two leaders and their American advisers, emissaries, and negotiators are stepping to, dancing around the great big pink elephant in the room, which no one wants to identify. And what is it?  The fact that no one is considering that the Arabs have, to this day, not yet declared acceptance of Israel as a Jewish state in the Middle East. They always step around the issue, claiming in their text books and maps the entire region which is Israel as theirs, which was "taken away" by the Jews in the Naqba--the ...

Israel is Not the Problem- (Guess Who Is?)*

I remember reading about the mosque that was vandalized in Judea (the so-called "West Bank"), and how a Jewish delegation including a chief rabbi came to the village where the mosque was, to deliver copies of the Kor'an in replacement of those destroyed and express outrage at at " this wretched act of burning a place holy to the Muslim people ." He was pelted with rocks as he left the village. I was filled with pride that an Israeli group came to show empathy and condemn the act, even though, IMHO they do not deserve it. The Jews have been persecuted on and off for thousands of years at the hands of almost every country they lived in while in the diaspora. We have experienced pogroms with hundreds of our people raped and murdered in Eastern Europe by peasants fired up by the Catholic Church (think Poland in the 19th century), our synagogues have been vandalized, firebombed and our holy books destroyed countless times, by everyone--Christians and Nazis and Mu...
