More on Obama & the DNC

Found on the Gateway Pundit blog:

"Barak Hussein O’bama meets with Imam Hassan Qazwini

Qazwini, head of the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, is known to have close ties to Hizbollah.

In 1998 the mosque hosted Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, who delivered a long hate-filled rant against Jews and Christians (and in praise of Saddam Hussein).

The above photo was taken on May 14, 2008, at Macomb Community College.

O’bama was there as part of his quest to win the Democratic presidential nomination. O’bama had a private session with Qazwini. A mosque spokesman, Eide Alawan, confirmed that the meeting took place. During the meeting, the two are said to have discussed the Presidential election, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the Iraq war.

Who said what remains unknown."

And I just found out in reading Frank Gaffney's article in the Jewish World Review, which is delivered into my inbox daily, that one of the opening invocations of the DNC on Sunday was given by Ingrid Mattson, president of The Islamic Society of North America, which

has been identified by the Department of Justice not only as a front for the Muslim Brotherhood - a global Islamist movement with the stated mission in America of "destroying Western civilization from within." Worse yet, it has also been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the United States' largest alleged terrorism financing conspiracy.
This organization according to Mr. Gaffney is guilty of using 'soft jihad' to spread their ideology through the western world. He writes,
The more one learns about Dr. Mattson and her organization, the more questions will be raised about Barak Obama's judgment and that of his party in affording them a prominent role in the 2008 Democratic convention.

What are the Democratic party and Mr. Obama trying to do? Are they even aware that they are inviting in an organization dedicated to destroying our western way of life and instituting Sharia law all over the world?

Can anyone help me understand this phenomenon, that people invite an enemy of their civilization to say a prayer over them?

I'm at a loss. And this is the Democratic nominee for president of the United States. Maybe Mashiach times are really upon us. . .
