"Al Chet Shechatati Lefanecha*..."

I wanted to do a quick post before Yom Kippur; it is such an awesome day that I could not let it go by without a comment. Besides, I have to atone for even sitting at the computer on erev Yom Kippur!

I spoke to my younger (married) son yesterday and wished him and his lovely wife a gmar hatimah tovah; my middle daughter (normally in Israel) is here for Yom Kippur and Sukkot, thank G-d; my youngest daughter (the one in serving in Tzahal in Handassa Kravit-see my post from 19 July entitled "My Baby's Unit) called me after midnight my time (!) while she was on the bus going home to G---- for the Chag, so I was able to wish her a Gmar Tov, and my older son called this morning, just before the Chag came in, where he was staying in A---- , so I succeeded in talking to him as well.

Now, all we need to do is pray to G-d for a true peace in Israel, and for the well-being of the Jews, and all the peoples of the world. With an insane government and a police-like State in Israel (read what happened to Nadia Matar at the demonstration in Jerusalem on Wednesday), surrounded by enemies - especially lately Syria and Iran who unabashedly vow to destroy us - we really need Hashem's help.

I am (-doing my E-pentance by) hereby asking for forgiveness from all my real and virtual friends and readers, if I hurt you or offended you in any way. Please forgive me.
May we all be written in the Book of Life for a good year, Amen, ken yehi ratzon.

muse: It is busy, isn't it? I tried to get everything in before the Chag and really had no time to expound on anything, not even to insert links to articles on Nadia Matar's arrest. I'm finding it very hard to prepare for a chag and keep up my blog; I have come to the conclusion that I am not superwoman. What a disappointment.
Nuch: Thank you for that, and boy, do I need your (and everyone else's)brachot - especially the 'wealth' part (-still don't have a job, and I'm getting a little worried about the bills). B'ezrat Hashem, the year 5768 will be better...I wish you and your family sh'nat bri'ut, osher ve-simcha.

So sorry I haven't had the time to read anyone's blogs for a while. After the chagim...
