Holy Castles!


Here are the promised pics of an especially holy castle on the holy beach of holy Tel-Aviv.
Image on top is the back of the castle; below is the front (castle faces the ocean).
My daughter (who built this with a friend) said that people strolling on the beach were so awed by this structure that many stopped to photograph it.
It reminds me a bit of Gamla (may it not fall again, heheh!)

Hahah. I'm glad you commented! Thought you'd stop coming b/c of the stupid 'word verification'. It is a pain, I admit. Maybe I'll do a post about it.

I used to love building sand castles when I was a kid; I have memories of going to Jones' Beach with my family, just 'going to the beach' to have a picnic. I would forget about time, totally involved in the moment...playing in the water, building sand castles. As they say, "them dayz is gone forever"...

For the better part of a year, I've had an on-again, off-again debate with my D.H. as to the "correct" adjective in the children's finger-play nursery rhyme, "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider" (now you know which one I favor). My D. The End. Is there a Beginning...?

This is my first post back on Tikkun Olam since April 23rd, 2015. It does not feel real. Why is it that we never think we will ever have a JOLT in our lives that will change the entire life course we have been traveling? (What a country; what a people!) Dr. Marta Weinstock-Rosin who invented the memory-improving drug Exelon speaks up about a possible future without Alzheimer's.
