(nablopomo day 10) Back in May, the largest reverse-osmosis water desalination plant in existence was opened in Hadera.  It is owned by IDE Technologies and Shikun and Binui , the third of five plants being built in Israel.  They are slated to supply  750 million cubic meters of desalinated water to Israel a year. Israel's main natural sources of water are underground acquifers, and the Kineret, or Sea of Galilee.    -- Just another example of Israeli ingenuity.

(nablopomo day 10) This has been going around, but an end has been added which now includes the people who were recently in the news (hat tip, Debbie ), as seen on One Jerusalem .  Food for thought. . . What happens when a fly falls into a coffee cup? The Italian – throws the cup and walks away in a fit of rage. The Frenchman – takes out the fly, and drinks the coffee. The Chinese – eats the fly and throws away the coffee. The Russian – drinks the coffee with the fly, since it was extra with no charge. The Israeli – sells the coffee to the Frenchman, the fly to the Chinese, Buys himself a new cup of coffee and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee. The Palestinian – blames the Israeli for the fly falling in his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian...

Israel has become personna non grata amongst the leftists of the Western World. Since the leftists now control virtually all of the countries in the Western World, Israel is in a world of hurt. It is slowly but surely being squeezed to death from all sides. Israel no longer has a friend anywhere in the world. Yet at the same time support for the nation of Israel in the United States is at the highest level in two decades .  (nablopomo day 9) I think it's appropriate at this time, with the world's vociferous indignation against Israel's defensive actions on the Mavi Marmara, to re-post the video of Geert Wilders of Fitna fame in his Warning to America from September 2009.  Here is a true Man of Courage.  If we do not listen to him and heed what he says, it will be to our peril. . .

(nablopomo day 8) Human beings are ruining the planet.  If events continue the way they are, human beings will ensure that, in the not-too-distant future, --between violence against innocents in Rwanda, Darfur, and other areas in Africa and across the world, --because of the vicious massacre of innocents in Mumbai, which were not universally condemned by the world at large , --because of aggressor-nations such as Iran, threatening another sovereign nation with annihilation, --with the world's virulent condemnation of a country which tried to defend itself against a surprise attack, and now, --with the utter devastation of the natural environment because of a company's greed and not caring, --the world will come to an end.  Unless we stand up and stop it.  All of it.
